Monday - rain, Tuesday - rain, Wednesday - not as much rain, Thursday - torrential rain and guess what Friday - what a lovely dry day!
Despite the appalling weather conditions brickies are confident of finishing today (Friday 20th). Chimneys are now complete and last of the sandstone sills are being put in place as I write this blog. In fact our brickies have done so well this week we have even let them have some time off to fix the Fenn's chimney at Ardmanor!
Roofers are due to start next week - hooray! According to builder he expects them to be finished within 4 weeks, which should mean the house being sealed from the elements for Christmas.
